The company I am with has an enterprise license for SS. We have a task where we are storing updates on a spreadsheet, as they evolve, within multiple departments. This has created much discrepancy within the data. I would like to lock it down to about four people being able to enter updates while others submit update requests to these people. This would be a way to keep the data secure and create a paper trail. We could also ensure that updates are being made.
I tried to use update request but that doesn't work as you must be an editor to submit the request, though editors can go in and make changes anyway. Confused as to why it was set up this way but assume there must be a reason. My goal is to allow viewers or commenters to submit request changes. Does anyone have any ideas for me?
