My name is Jeffrey Beal, and I am the Procurement and Warehouse Manager, overseeing direct reports including transactors, a Procurement Analyst, a Storekeeper, and a warehouse worker.
My team and I currently track and manage our purchase requests in Smartsheet, alongside two other different systems, to support our daily operations. One of these is the FAMIS360 inventory module, which we use to track parts, materials, and supplies purchased for our Facilities Services warehouse on-hand inventory for skilled trades.
Based on my experience, I believe that if Smartsheet were to incorporate a robust work order, billing, and inventory module, it would be positioned to corner the market of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
