Over the past year, I’ve been building Smartsheet systems in a multi-partner environment supporting project management, reporting, and operational workflows. As adoption has grown internally and across partner organizations, one challenge I’ve been thinking more about is balancing governance and standardization with flexibility for different teams and project managers.
We’ve had success creating more centralized structures for reporting, deliverables, dashboards, and workflows, but I’m curious how others approach maintaining consistency without making systems feel overly rigid as usage expands.
