Locking rows already saved.

Is possible to locking some cells in a row after a collaborator saved? The collaborator will enter information in all cells in a row (this is why cannot be locked before been saved). After saving the information entered, some cells cannot be edit anymore but other cells can be add a value or edit.

Hi Al,

You'll need to lock the rows manually after the collaborator saves.

One alternative though is to set up Update Requests for your collaborators, then share them to the sheet with Viewer permissions.

If they have Viewer permissions, they won't be able to update data in the sheet directly.

With Update Requests, you can send them a form to update all of the cells as needed instead. (This can be done manually or automatically.) Details on this are available in our help center: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/504779-using-update-requests
