This is such a fundemntal feature for any document tool, please let the product team know that they are making a big mistake not addressing this.

I am happy to announce we have added a find and replace feature to Smartsheet! Read my announcement here: https://community.smartsheet.com/announcement/new-smartsheet-find-and-replace-within-sheet-and-identify-web-form-responses

Saw and tried this update this morning, and have already used it several times. I love it and can't wait to keep using it. I do have some questions, but will hold off until the webinar next week.

Also +1 voting for this function.
Use case:
- In my project plan template, I have the generic "Client" for who/responsibility that I would like to replace with the client's name. The template has about 200 task rows, of which 1/2 (100) are filled with "Client". Leaving them as just "Client" is cold and impersonal but manually changing them all one-by-one requires spending 1/2 work day, that would be much better spent talking with my customers during our first critical days or preparing their implementation.

Hi Patrick-- To confirm, this functionality actually already exists in Smartsheet! You can open the Find & Replace menu by pressing Ctrl + F on your keyboard. This will open a menu that will allow you to search for the word "Client" and replace with your desired client name. If this isn't what you're looking for, please let me know a little more about the feature you'd be interested in!

Thanks @Kennedy! Looks like I should have just read on to page 2 of the thread. This fits it exactly!
