Filters no longer summarize counts

Before today's update to the new improved Smartsheet, when you used a filter it would give you the count of items it filtered on.  Now it does not do this.  You have to select all elements in a column to see how many there are.  Why did this change?  Is there another way to find the total number of filtered elements?  This is in grid view.

Hover over the filter button to see the count of items filtered.

The update not only hid the filtered number, it also hid the Attachment Count, UR count, Comment count, etc.

Yes, you can mouse over them, but what is the added value for the users if you intentionally require that the they perform extra activities in order to access the data that they already had visible with zero effort?

I came here to see if anyone else was experiencing the same issue and it certainly looks like I'm not alone.

Honestly, while the Charts from Reports function is great, the UI update seems completely unnecessary and negatively impacts the usability of the platform.

Not trying to shoot the messenger though, as the Community team does a great job!

I'm in the same boat, the fact that it showed the count for the filters was very helpful.
