Either I'm being dense or this is actually impossible, but I thought I'd ask.
What my staff member wants is for the email addresses he puts into cells in Smartsheet to become essentially live mailto links (just what happens in Excel: put in an email address, it will convert it to a link that will automatically open Outlook with an email already addressed). I can see that Smartsheet is automatically converting URLs into regular links, so logically there ought to be a way to make them mailto links?
Note that I'm not looking for a way to share the row from the sheet -- the point would be that the sheet is an internal document which he can use to record email addresses for his contacts, along with other relevant information (organization, area of expertise, etc.) about that person.
