Report builder - Collapse and Expand Rows

Hi,

Is there a way to expand and collapse rows in the report builder just like the functionality that the sheets have?

I want to be able to display in my project dashboard the same view that from the project sheet but unable to do so because I need to create it in the report builder first so I could display it in my dashboard.

There currently isn't a way to display hierarchy or expand/collapse rows underneath a parent row. When you have a moment, please submit a Product Enhancement Request to let our Product team know that you'd like to see this feature added to Smartsheet.

Also is there a way to show dependencies between different sheets when you integrate multiple sheets in a report

The only alternative I have found is to publish the sheet, then embed it in the dashboard as a webview, which is kind of... bonkers.

Hi @jfarineau

Reports have been updated since 2019 and now have a Grouping and Summary feature. Grouping creates a sort of "parent" collapsible row. This is helpful when you're combining multiple sheets into one Report. Here's more information: https://help.smartsheet.com/learning-track/best-practice-webinars/reports

However if you're looking to see the hierarchy that currently exists in an underlying sheet, then in this case Reports bring in each row as an individual item, unrelated to the Parent or Ancestors.
