Is there anyway to have a project task list that is updated from multiple project task list sheet? We are looking to have a master roll up of the Project Milestones without including all the tasks on 1 task list.

Would a report do what you're after? You could include all your project sheets and set criteria in the report to specify only rows with a 0 duration.

You aren't the only one with this problem. That was with a single search on google. In fact I asked the same question yesterday hoping someone had a new response. The two answers right now are cell linking which takes a huge amount of time and is extremely inefficient, and building a report which takes away the ability to perform any calculations on the data you are pulling from different sheets.
There is a 3rd option, but it's relatively expensive (we're talking 10s of thousands):
