Link if?

Hello!

Is there a way to link cells, or even just copy cell/row info, if a specific criteria is met? I am new to Smartsheet and haven't been able to find anything to do this.

This is the situation:

I am using a webform to create Purchase requests. I have approvals set up. Once the request has been APPROVED, I want specific cells from the request sheet to link to a Purchase Order sheet. I don't want anything that is DECLINED to link, which is the problem I have now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

    Hi Emily

It is possible to link two sheets with the IF function. Start typing the IF( and then a window will open, click in the Reference Another Sheet link (In blue).

    I hope it helps.

    Yes, as Silvia stated.

References inside a formula are different than cell linking. The problem you may run into is that in order to function properly, you'll need some way for the system to find the correct information on the other sheet, some sort of unique key or ID. If you have that, it can work.
