Escalation Alerts or Notifications

Is it possible - whether in the Alerts/notifications or with a formula, to create an escalation based on inactivity of entries.

Example:

Operators enter the date when equipment is cleaned. this is required weekly. If 2 weeks are missed for entries (14 days), then I want a notification sent via email to their manager.

What's the best way to accomplish this?

Add in a Modified (Date) column. This will automatically track the last time the row was updated.

You could then set up the notification as below. If you have a Contact type column with the Manager's info for each row, you can have it automatically send to the contact in that column instead of having to set up a bunch of different notifications for each person.

If you have a list of employees, you could create an Employee/Manager table and use a VLOOKUP formula to reference that and auto-fill the manager for each row based on the employee's name.
