Email content

Hey guys,

Hoping someone can help me out. Im trying to see if there is a template or a way to create a tab that lets you upload email content i.e. a content image plus word doc/text to a certain newsletter and the person who is looking after that newsletter gets a notification when content has been uploaded.

Also the person who is responsible for uploading gets a reminder to upload it by a certain date.

    I don't have a specific template in mind but what you want to do is possible, and it can be done in a few different ways. Can you describe in more detail how your process works and share some screenshots?

    I usually just attach to the row and include a checkbox column that the user can manually mark after attaching. I use conditional formatting to highlight the box if it is unchecked. A notification can then be set up to automatically send once that box is checked.

     

    If all you were worried about was the image being uploaded, you could create a column for that purpose and in a checkbox column use

     

    =IF(NOT(ISBLANK([Image Column]@row)), 1)

     

    That will check the box if anything is put in that particular column for that particular row (not just images though). You could then build your notification off of that checkbox.
