Automated Reports

Is it possible to create automatic reporting and dictate who would receive them? I'm hoping to have all outstanding issues pulled from my Smartsheet each week and distributed to the team to make sure nothing slips through the cracks.

Create the rport(s) with the criteria predefined.

Select the send to option from the Menu, where you can send the report as a PDF or as an Excel file and you can schedule it accordingly.

 

Enter the email addresses and send.

In the reports you can also set the time frame that they are used for. If the project has a timeline it is helpful to set the dates up front so you dont have to edit it later.

Thank you JamesR and Jeremy Michels! I'm trying those options, but still not seeing a place that I can set times for the report to be sent/shared. All I'm seeing is an option to send an immediate version of the report...we're hoping to have it go out at the end of every week so our team's aware of current times that are still pending and need to be addressed.

To be clear go to Sheet actions tab select send as an attachment. Select the PDF version. Schedule is highlighted there. Select schedule and then pick day, week, month etc. There are options to select time of day that it goes out etc. As well as set the time that you want this to run for. I hope this helps.
