Show % progress on bars in Gannt view

Been searching and can not find any clear answer to this so ill ask (maybe again).
Is there a way of presenting the % progress within the bar of a task in Gannt view as it is as default in MS Project for example?
It could be enough to have it in 25,50,75,100% increments for me

Hi Mattias,
Yes, there is. In the Project Setting > Timeline Display > Display label for you can select which columns cell you want to show.
Pro tip: You can create a new helper column and combine (most of) multiple other values to show it on the Gantt bars.
I hope this helps you!
Have a fantastic week!

That setting was just what I was looking for!
I'll get back to the pro tip when this current project is done...

Great!
Sounds like a plan!

This was very Helpful for my as well....How can I mirror those % of progress over to a Report.....When ever I Do I Always show a Full bar with out any progress mark....I Select the Start/End/Duration Column but nothing seems to work....
-
Hi @Karif
After you've added the % Completed column to the Report, you'll need to also configure the Project Settings within the Report to recognize this as the column to use for this specific Gantt view:
If you get a pop-up error when accessing your Project Settings in a Report, there is a current issue happening where this error message can occur based on your organization's settings. To resolve this in the interim while we work on a fix, have your System Admin toggle off "10,000ft Resource Management" (see the steps for this here).
Cheers!

Hey Andree,
I realize this is an old thread but how can I combine implementation time frames for a project in the same project bar? I need it to show on the calendar as well so multiple teams can see when they need to book travel and when the are overbooked from a resource standpoint.

Hi,
I hope you're well and safe!
❓What exactly would you like to be visible in the calendar?
Be safe, and have a fantastic day!

I need to show the length of the project but also show the implementation time line or days for implementation. If that makes sense.
-
I am trying to show the entire length of the project in the primary project bar and show the implementation length inside the project bar so when you look at the calendar view for the project, teams see when the implementation portion of the project is happening so they can schedule travel or see what their availability is for resource management. Hopefully that makes sense. Not sure if this can be done or not. Appreciate the help.
-
Ok. It would work to show the same thing on each calendar day for each section.
Would that work/help?

Possibly, I would need to see what your talking about.
-
Good news! I gave you the wrong description. I meant that it would be similar to a Gantt chart.
Here are two examples.
Would that work/help?

That is not quite what I was wanting. I was wanting to show the implementation time frame inside the same project bar instead of two different bars for a project.
-
Not sure I follow!
Can you sketch or somehow show more details about what you mean?

Would it help if you arranged your Gannt using children and then present it in Calendar view?
