Formula not filling down after pasting data from Excel
Hey guys,
I'm new to this and this is likely to have already been solved elsewhere, but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for.
my process requires that I copy data from a CSV file and paste into my sheet where the top rows have applied formulas. The formula, however, is not filling down automatically.
Any thoughts, tricks, tips are greatly appreciated.

Hi Gary,
It won't fill down If you paste information.
What are you pasting and what is it that you want to fill down?
Have a fantastic weekend!

I am downloading data from another application. When I move (at this point paste) the data into the sheet, there are two columns that reference values from another sheet. The formulas in the two columns look at the newly pasted values and the off-sheet data to calculate scores (for lack of a better word).
Is there a way to get the data into the sheet without pasting it?
You enjoy your weekend the same.

Ok.
The easiest way is probably to drag fill or use the shortcut CTRL+D or CMD+D to fill those columns down.
Would that work?
Best,
Andrée

For some reason, the CTRL-D or CMD-D (I am btw on a mac keyboard) is not working. Maybe a different browser.

That should work and the browser shouldn't have anything to do with it.
Are you selecting the cell that you want to fill down > holding shift and selecting the last cell> the cells that you want to fill will be selected?
You can also hold down shift and press the arrow down to select the cell(s) below?
More info: Fill down
I hope this helps you!
Best,
Andrée
