Is it possible to select more than one thing from a drop-down column?

Count my vote for multi select drop downs, please.
-
Yep, one more for multiple selections. Looks like this has been on the list for a number of years. Any idea when there
may be some movement on this?
-
Adding my vote a second time - would really love to see this implemented!
-
Another vote for this. It would be VERY useful.
-
Yes, either the option to check multiple boxes or select multiple drop downs. I end up having to use Google forms or Formsite because this feature is lacking.
-
I really need this feature as well. It is a really a bummer there is no way to select more than one drop down category, I have to find an alternate solution as a result.
-
Still looking for a solution! Is there any movements?
-
I vote for this feature as well. Was really surprised that it didn't have it already. We're a decently sized company and have been using the platform for the last 6-8 months and love it. However, this is very limiting.

Late to the party, but adding my request to have this level of functionality!
-
+1 vote. This will make project tracking, intake processes, and surveying work out of Smartsheet. We understand the workaround option, but with other tools available here we are having trouble driving adoption of migration into Smartsheet on our 800 person team.
-
Natalie, you can add me to the list of users requesting this option, too, please. Thank you!
-
Count me in on this request too! (I'm surprised this hasn't been addressed yet.)
-
So it's been years since initial requests on this - is there any movement on this feature being added?
-
YES!!! It is now available...Go here to read more.
FYI that changing to the new type invalidates the current Contact List column. Thus, if you have any conditional formatting, or rules, that involve the Contact List column you have to add this new column type and delete the old one after the changes are made.
But for me, it was totally worth all 80+ reports.
Blessings,

This is a feature for assigning contacts correct? I believe the subject is this thread is about seleting more than one item in a drop down column - such as if they want mayo AND mustard on their sandwich. (bad example I know LOL.)
I don't see how the contacts feature will work outside of a contact list column - do you know of a way?
