Regularly emailed project sheet - how do I update the email body text??

I am a relatively newish user of Smartsheet and have used it about 3 months. A co-worker helped me to set up a regular email to be sent out to my team with my project list attached. The email body of that email that goes out needs to be edited. I can't figure out now how to go back and make any edits to that. Any ideas???

Was the email created from your email progam or within Smartsheet?

Maybe Google Mail Merge for gmail and Google Docs?

 

Without knowing that, providing the correct answer is difficult.

I'm pretty sure we set up a reoccuring email to send out through Smartsheet, with the document attached as an Excel doc.

Sending a Sheet via Email

Unfortunately, it looks like you can only edit the recurrence of the email, not the message or the recipients.

Sounds like a useful feature request (+1 vote from me)

 

There also does not appear to be any visual cues that there are recurring emails being sent from the sheet. I'd like one of those. The only way to find them is to go into the 

Sheet Actions | Send as Attachment menu item. 

 

It appears you will need to recreate the email and delete the old one (unless I missed it!)

Craig is correct, you will need to delete the recurring send and set up another with the updated text.

+1 vote on being able to edit the message after having set it up for scheduled delivery!

Thanks for the input, everyone! I will submit the ability to edit messages on recurring emails, as an enhancement request.

We would like this enhancement as well.  We regularly need to update the text associated with recurring emailed reports, and every time have to re-setup.
