I am dealing with people outside my company. I am sending them information in response to their web form submission that I have setup in Smartsheet.

I would really like to use the discussion option but that invites them into my sheet, which I don't want. I just want to capture their replies.

So I tried using send row but this has a large LOGIN again inviting them to come to my sheet.

Is there any way to turn that button off?

I hope this makes sense.

Damian, you might try Update Requests. This allows the user to view and edit specified rows. You can limit the columns they have can view or edit and can allow the user to add discussions.

Be aware that Update Requests are a one-time link.

They can, however, be set to recur periodically, which really expands the possibilities.

This definitely needs to happen. I can't send rows to anyone without them asking me for a password! It gets old.

I want to add my vote for this feature. The Log In button at the top of the notification email is not only disconcerting, it is confusing to the recipient. They think that they can actually log in to the sheet, when actually they cannot.
