Hi there, i would like to start an activity 10 days before either activity A OR activity B starts. How should i define the predecessor? BR Marco
its based off of row numbers. So if A was on row 1 and B was on row 2 you would put
1-10,2-10
exactly like that inside of the predecessors column
Hi Marco,
You can have the same predecessor for more than one task, however there currently isn't a way to define an OR criteria. Please feel free to submit a Product Enhancement Request to let our Product team know that you'd like to have this functionality in Smartsheet.
To represent a period of inactivity or overlap between the predecessor and dependent, you can use lag time. More information on this can be found here: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/765727-enabling-dependencies-using-predecessors

So “Activity C” is scheduled to start on April 20. Maybe you have an idea how to solve this problem. Thanks a lot in advance! Marco

I have a task that started in Sept and ends in Feb. I need to assign it to someone else, but do not want to lose the history of the first employee. How do I do this?
Starting a couple of days ago, I started getting 2 or more emails a day about my account being activated. I have a monthly subscription but have never received this type of email from Smartsheet. The email looks legitimate - the sender is "reply_to@Smartsheet .com" - except for maybe the greeting, which is "Dear Customer".…
