Exporting whole spreadsheet including gantt into excel
Is it possible to export the whole spreadsheet including the gantt chart into excel? Β When ive tried to export it to excel previously it only gives me the option to export the actions and not the timeline/gantt chart section. Β Is this possible?

Dear Francesca,
Unfortunately this is not possible. The chart is a grapchical display of the data given in the start and end dates, duration, predecessors colunns. However, if you import these data back to Smartsheet (or to MS Project or to other PM software), you will be able to see the Gantt-chart again.Β

Excel does not support Gantt charts. You could build it in Excel (with some work) but it's not something that is natively supported (See:Β https://www.smartsheet.com/blog/gantt-chart-excel001)

MS Project is Microsoft's project management solution and does support Gantt charts.

Lots free. Lots on-line too.
