Hi,
Is there someway to align the week numbers in the gant timeline display with the start of a July to June financial year? I've tried the different option but the weeks seem harcoded to a calendar year.
Thanks,
Tony,
Where are you seeing the week numbers?
Craig
Tony, the week number is based on calendar year - not fiscal year but I will submit your request to our product team!
Craig, Project Settings > Timeline Display > if you have weeks selected as a Primary or Secondary heading, you can select Week Number as the display setting.
Thanks Travis,
My business and I know many others use a financial week calendar starting from 1st July (week 1). It would certainly be very beneficial to be able to see this in our smartsheet project management. Thanks for submitting a request.
Cheers
Hi all,
Further to this request, is there a way to make Week 1 align with the first week of a project and to count the weeks from that point? It is common for us to need to show that our project program will be completed in X number of weeks and to label the project weeks 1 to X is useful.
Kind Regards,
Anna
Hey Anna,
Did you get any help on the matter? I need the same for my ongoing projects.
If you do have any advise, please share it.
Hi Bojana,
No, haven't received help or resolution on this matter but still very keen to see it happen. Seems like functionality that they intend to have (should be able to pick what month your fiscal year starts in), that doesn't seem to work.
At the moment, to satisfy clients I am adding a column in when I print which shows No. of Weeks for each task, but not ideal.
Cheers,
Hi has there been any movement on this?
In Australia Week 1 always starts on July 1st.
I set the start of fiscal year to July as per the image above and it still calls Jan 1st Week 1.
Please make so that the start of a project can be Week 1!!
