Project Rollup Metrics (sum of all project durations)
I have a master sheet that rolls up metrics from my projects for reporting on various KPIs to my leadership. I need to sum duration, but when I link the cell from the sheet it comes over as (ex., 43d). The sum doesn't acknowledge the d, so I am unable to sum the total of all days for a project. Thanks,

Hi Elizabeth,
There are a few ways to solve this, but the easiest would probably be to deactivate Dependencies (Project Settings) on the metric sheet and add =SUM(CHILDREN()) to the parent row(s).
Would that work?
Have a fantastic week and let me know if you have any questions!

Hi:
Unfortunately because this is a link I am unable to alter the formatting. The (d) is preventing calculations for processing and I can't identify a formula that would let me work around that. The intention is to provide automated rollups and the total duration of all projects in the pipeline. Thanks!

It should work!
Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)

Hi FactionPMO,
Have you been able to figure this out? I'm also having the same problem. I'm trying to capture metrics for the average time of all projects in each stage.
Thanks!
