Default to "Search Current Sheet" in the search feature
The Search feature is such as awesome tool, however, the default is all sheets. I typically want to only search the current sheet. Is there a way for the default to be the current sheet and then I can select other sheets if needed?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Lainie,
We do have a keyboard shortcut that can bring up the search field that is defaulted to the current sheet. In Windows, press [Ctrl] + [Shift] + F and on a Mac use [Cmd] + [Shift] + F, then type in your search terms. This should default your search to the current sheet.
Have a great day!

Ah ha! So I type that into the search window before I type in what I want to search for. Makes sense. Thanks!

Lainie,
No, you don't have to type it, just to press once, and the search window appears as follows (the "Current sheet" option is on):

That's correct Atus. While your sheet is open, just press those keystrokes and that will open the search window, defaulted to Current Sheet.

Steve,
That's a good tip, thanks for sharing! It would still be nice if this could be set at the default level somewhere.
Thanks,

Thanks for the shortcut, Steve! To go one step further it would be nice if the search window included a filter to only search visible rows.
Thanks!
Joe
