Need to Resize Window Linked Through Dashboard

I have a shortcuts widget on my dashboard. This contains links to Smartsheet items as well as other useful links. When a user clicks on the link, the linked window appears but it cannot be resized. As an example, I have a link to a project sheet. The sheet comes up using a small portion of the screen, with the Windows Resize and Max buttons greyed out. The manual resize handle (that you drag to make the window bigger is also not functional.

I would like to expand it to take up the full screen (as I can when I open the sheet directly from the workspace. Any ideas?

Have you selected the Smartsheet item or added the direct link?

After clicking on "Add Shortcut", for Smartsheet items, I select either "URL" or "Smartsheet Item" as needed. For the URL, I put in the URL, for the Smartsheet Items, I point to the item.

When I go to use the widget on the dashboard, it does not allow the new window to be resized. In order to use it, you have to do a lot of scrolling.

Sounds like it's an issue with the browser. 

Which one are you using? Can you try another one?

You nailed it. I thought I posted this earlier. It only does not work in IE (I am using 11). It worked on Chrome and Edge.
