How to keep changes in chart colors?

I have created dashboards that include charts, for which I have selected specific colors for each category. Data for the charts come from different sheets. However, everytime I add a new row to the source sheet, I have to update manually the range of data in the dashboard. When I try to update the dashboard range, the app loads the default color set and I have to change one by one again. Is there a way of keeping the colors I selected by creating a custom color theme?

Any update to this? Seems pointless to give us the ability to change colors if it won't stay.

Is this functionality available yet? I really need my red, yellow, green to BE and STAY red, yellow, green.
