Need a Work Around Please
I have an Admin who doesn't wish to share the sheet with me so I can add a column to covert the date in the date column to a Weekday,
Is there a way to do this on a separate sheet?
Our, Both the Admin and I, have superiors who want me to create a report showing the total orders scheduled by day of the week and then I have to show the installs that have been done so I'm thinking of a graph that shows the total orders possible by the day of the week and have the total orders done overlap it.
Anyway, I'm trying to find a work around. Once I can get the day of the week based on the column date then I know I can use an CountIFs formula to finish the rest.

Aside from finding a way to get that column added to the sheet (even if the coworker adds it and allows you to edit), it is going to require either some regular manual entry or some advanced planning with cell linking.
You can either manually enter and keep updated the date, or you can cell link the dates into a column of your own and cell link in some extra blank rows to catch any new ones added to the original sheet.
