Sheet Permissions from Template
Can someone check my logic here?
I have locked rows in my timeline templates that have formulas in them (VLOOKUP for a project summary at the top) that I need my PMs to not edit. Currently, they have admin permissions and can delete the formulas. It was suggested to me to make them editors in the workspace, but they'll still be sheet owners who can override my locked rows.
Am I right in thinking that making them editors won't help my problem?

If they own the sheet, then it doesn't matter what type of workspace access they have. They can still edit/delete formulas even in locked rows/columns.

Rats, I was afraid of that. Thank you!

Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I generally still lock the columns and rows but then apply some kind of formatting to them to make it a little more obvious that that particular cell group doesn't need any manual entry.
