Dates Don't Act As Dates if Linked from Another Smartsheet
In short... if I pull a date from another sheet using "Link from Cell in Another Sheet", I can't do formulas off that date. I've verfied that the columns are formatted as dates.
[Opening Date]1 is linked from another Smartsheet.
I want to add 180 days to the [Opening Date]1.
[Opening Date]1 = 08/22/82
Here's what the formula looks like: =[Opening Date]1 + 180
Here's the result: 08/22/82180
If [Opening Date]1 is not linked, the formula results just fine.
Anything I'm missing?

I investigated this and found a fix to your problem! We are investigating further.
In the meantime, As long as the data you are linking is a date (and not a constructed date, which is taken as a string in a date column) and it is being linked into a date column the following should fix your problem:
1. Change the column containing the cell link to a Text/Number column type
2. Change the column back to a Date column type
Thanks for posting. Let me know if you have any further issues.
