Use a sign up cap within forms

Hi,

New to to community and couldn't find the thing I am looking for, hopefully someone is able to help.

I am trying to gather sign ups for different events in one sheet using forms. The events got different sign up caps (max attendees). After an event is fully booked and reached it's cap people shouldn't be able to sign up fot that particular event anymore.

Anyone knows if this is a possibility?

    Hi,

Welcome to the Community and the wonderful world of Smartsheet!

There are a few ways to structure a solution.

The simplest would probably be to have an alert trigger when the limit is reached and then deactivate the form or delete the option.

    Would that work?

    I hope that helps!

    Have a fantastic day!

  • Hi,

I am running into the same issue. I would like to limit hourly sign ups to an event. i.e. Feb 15th 8AM is blocked after 10 people sign up. The form deletes 8AM option but continues to display other available options.

I would love to find an automated solution. We are currently manually maintaining the sign-up sheet.

If anyone has figured out an automated option, please contact me.

    Thank you,

    Best,

    Brenda
