Limitations free trial users?

Dears,

Our customer has a number of unlicensed users which work on Smartsheet. A new employee joined and created a new free trial user account.

This user is not able to email comments out of a sheet: "You've exceeded the maximum of 5 recipients at a time for free trial users. Please reduce your list and try again."

Any idea? Other "older" free accounts are able to email comments to > 5 recipients.

you see to be suffering from the changes made in September to the ability for Collaborators to work with Smartsheet without upgrading to a license.

Here's the detail. There are some workarounds but not now as easy.

Appreciate your feedback here, however the changes made in September do not mention emailing comments to a max X recipients.

Also other unlicensed users are still able to use this function.

Any idea ?

It has to be worth emailing Support@smartsheet.com and asking the question? But I can only presume that Smartsheet Free Trial accounts are being more tightly restricted so you get your credit card out faster?

The I cannot see your particular issue detailed in the above link but maybe someone else can?

Sorry but Trial user restrictions don't normally last long! (28 days)

Richard is correct. It's the trial limitations. It's limited to 5 Notifications/day.
