High Level Project Report

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking at creating a high level/overview report for around 10 ongoing projects which are all on their own Grids in Different work spaces with what stage they are at, who is assigned to the project and the date they are due to be complete.

Can anyone recommend how I can do this, as I am very new to Smartsheets!

Hi Eleanor,

There are a few different ways to structure it.

Use Sheet Summary and Sheet Summary Report to collect everything
Use a section in each sheet for the metrics and either cell-linking/cross-sheet formulas that to a so-called Master Metric Sheet

Would any of those methods work/help?

Here's the syntax.

https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/2479976-calculate-key-project-metrics-with-sheet-summary-formulas

If all sheets look the same you can set up a template Sheet Summary and then copy that to all the other sheets.

When you create the Sheet Summary Report it will show the fields from the Sheet Summary.

Hi Andree,

This was very helpful thank you, but I am struggling to initially set up a Sheet Summary, as I can't link it to specific cells (or I cannot work out how to).

Is there any way that I can have a report that will automatically update according to the original sheets? Sorry if this sound dumb!
