How do you export a smartsheet to PDF and keep the hyperlinks?

I have not found a way to export to PDF and keep the hyperlinks directly out of smartsheet. I've exported to excel and then saved as a PDF, but has anyone found a way to do that out of smartsheet directly? I asked support and they didn't find a way but recommended I ask the community. Thank you!

Hi @Andrea Jones,

From my experience, hyperlinks will only export to PDF if the hyperlink doesn't have a display text. When you have a moment, please submit a Product Enhancement Request to let our Product team know that you'd like to have this functionality in Smartsheet.

Hi, just adding my voice to this request ~1.5 years later as still wanting this functionality. This is not a new request, though -- here's a forum post from February 2017 asking for the same thing:

Hyperlinks Are Lost When a Sheet is Exported — Smartsheet Community

Issues:

• Hyperlinks hidden behind Display Text are completely removed.
• Raw hyperlinks in a text column are butchered and unusable unless the column in the Report is so wide that it allows the entire URL to be on a single line (regardless of whether the sheet's column has text wrapping on or off). This is not actually always possible, though, as some URLs can be very long (like Amazon link URLs).

Yes, I've submitted this as an Enhancement Request.

Same issue. This does not work and is unacceptable. Its not an enhancement, its a coding mistake that take no time to properly fix.
