How do I remove erronous contacts from the All Contacts repository?

I am the Admin on our company account. I have updated the User Management and My Smartsheet Contacts with the most accurate employee list. When I am assigning out or updating tasks, there are still erroneous and duplicate contacts in the All Contacts list. How do i remove them to avoid confusion?

Hello Jamieβit's possible that the contact column itself hasn't yet been updated in the sheet, or users are still shared on the sheet. The dropdown that appears when typing in a contact populates from four sources:
Β
1. Β Your Smartsheet Contacts
2. Other email addresses entered in the Contact type column on the sheet.
3. Users shared to the sheet.
4. Active users in Account > User Management

I'd recommend unsharing users from the sheet, and manually removing their email addresses from any Contact type columns in your sheet.
