I just want to show my support for this great idea

This feature is critical to our adoption of the platform.
-
You mentioned in July 2017 that this will be available be the "end of the year", and it's April 2018 now. This is probably one of the biggest reasons we are still using JIRA along with SmartSheets because we cannot reference people in comments and follow up. Can you please provide a realistic timeline about when this will become available now?
-
Can you please add my vote for this feature
-
Is there an update on this feature?
-
Originally raised H2 2016, planned for H1 2017, then slipped to H2 2017, then H1 2018... is this not a priority for Smartsheet? Greater collaboration leads to increased user adoption and engagement. This is a significant gap in the notifications functionality compared to your competitors
-
This is becoming absolutely critical and I'm frustrated that this thread has been ongoing for two years with no solution yet implemented. Please provide an update on when this will be available. Thank you.

+1 from me please

+1 SEE MY CAPITALIZATION? THAT'S HOW BADLY THIS FEATURE NEEDS TO BE A THING. I'M YELLING IT... BY WAY OF CAPS-LOCK. thank you @smartsheet. (see what I did there?)

Me and my colleagues need this feature!

As a newish SmartSheet user (and experienced with Jira and Salesforce), I have to say the bulk of the product is really, really good. So thank you for making such a good piece of SaaS.
But the lack of @mentions is an enormous hole in the product. I cannot stress this enough. It cripples the usefulness of the product across complex projects with multiple team members from multiple teams. I have team members getting updates to projects with zero context due to the lack of @mentions. And no peace of mind about an update getting to the right people.
I see that this discussion has been ongoing since at least 2016. Can you please update your userbase on this? If anything non-bug related is a P1, it's this.

When looking to roll this enhancement out you may want to consider combining @mentions with your request for an update feature. If you have those two different features operating independently from one another you'll likely see a lower adoption rate for the newer feature and also a decline in use for the other.
If @mentions could be used to trigger update requests however you'll promote adoption for utilizing them for multiple use case scenarios.

Hi smartsheet. Please could you provide an update on the roadmap for this feature please?
