Why would you save a sheet as a template vs saving as a new sheet?
I have a master sheet that I plan to replicate multiple times retaining all configuration I have done ie workflows, attachments, predecessors. It appears that saving as a template and saving as a new sheet would retain all of those features. So what is the benefit of saving as a template vs saving as a new sheet (and vice versa), is there something obvious I am missing? Thx.

The biggest thing would be that you can't start keying into the sheet and unintentionally save over something by mistake before saving as new with a template.

Hi Leslie,
Templates are perfect if you need a new sheet often for a specific task or if someone else, and it should be as simple as possible.
It's simpler to start and save from a template.
I hope that helps!
Have a fantastic week!

@Andrée Starå Piggy backing on this, is the new sheet (from a template) able to feed back into a different sheet??
Thanks!

Unfortunately, it is not possible with formulas, but maybe through a copy row automation or similar.
Would that work? What is the process?
