Error code: 500! in DataMesh

I was trying out DataMesh for the first time and ended up getting the following Error message:

Error code: 500! undefined method `[]' for nil:NilClass

As it is very non-descriptive, I have absolutely no idea what I did wrong.

Has anyone else experienced this error message and if yes, could you fix it?
