Form Permissions?

I don't think this is possible, but I am asking anyway - if it's not possible I would like this added as an enhancement request...

I'd like to see forms within sheets be able to be used by specific people only. The current options are basically anonymous (anyone with a link) or an authenticated user (could be anyone with a Smartsheet account)..

I know I can kind of get around it with Dynamic View, etc. but being able to control who can specifically use a form would be helpful in some cases to capture the Created by data in a column, but only allow certain people to do the actual submission for control purposes. I know I can just share the link with those I want to have it, but people aren't good at keeping things to themselves sometimes.

Unfortunately, you're correct and it's not possible at the moment, but it's an excellent idea!
