SS as a database/info repository

I believe this functionality is available, but having trouble finding it. Are there any articles on SmartSheet being used as a database or repository for various documents? I understand how file management/attachments in relation to a project sheet, but what about broad file management?

During a call I had with some SS folks, I believe this was confirmed as a function, but I'm not finding much that confirms this, or any promising articles just leads me to "contact smartsheet."

Hi Caroline,

You can connect Smartsheet to storage solutions like Dropbox, Google Drive, or similar, but other than that, Smartsheet doesn’t Have any storage features except the attachments on Workspaces/Sheets/Rows.

How would you like to use it? What is your use-case?
