Can I make selected drop down values viewable stacked instead of next to each other?

In one of my sheets multi-selected drop down values are viewed stacked (they increase the size of the row but not the column). In another sheet this same multi-selected drop down values are viewed horizontally (increasing the size of the column and not the row). Is there a way to choose between how multiple values are viewed next to each other?

Yes, you can select how you want it to show with the Wrap feature in the toolbar.
