How to get feedback on common terminology on multiple terms
I am trying to get everyone on the same page with our terminology, I would like to have a grid with all of the terms and put out a form to members of the team to get their definition of the term, collect them to see where common ground in, then have a meeting to finalize the term where everyone is in agreement.
If I had many terms to get feedback on, don't know how a form will help me, but I I send out update request, then only the same row would be updated by many users.
I need a way to send out the the list of terms with a base definition and either get their approval or their definition which I can capture in Smartsheet.
Any takers?
Thanks

My thought process was a column for each person plus the term and the base definition. So 12 columns in total. Share each of them to the sheet and give instruction to either enter "Agree" or their own definition in their own column. They will be able to give their own opinion or agree and can use row comments to provide more detail.
This keeps your sheet a little smaller and possibly more organized with only a single row for each term and each person has the ability to give their own feedback.
Additionally you can set up update requests and/or reminders for them regularly for those rows that are still blank.

How many people do you need to get feedback from for each one?

I have about 15 terms (term group) and I need to get consensus from about 10 folks, what I came up with, I made the list of terms, one per row, with columns of "Base definition" (this is my definition), approval box, "Alt. definition" (they can type in their own thought), comment cell and a reviewer cell.
I make 10 copies of the term group (expanded the grid from 15 rows to 150 rows), entered each team member names into the reviewer cell for each term group.
I made a workflow which will send each member his section of the term group to review, might not be the best way but I hope it will work, just have to get them to respond.
