I have been using automated workflows to send update requests to inbox for contacts of a column.
I am unable to do so now. When a row is added the update request is shown as notification in the smartsheet and is not going to the inbox. How can I resolve this ? The data is entered using a form.

Hi,
you can configure the delivery path for notifications in your personal settings, or in the settings of the notification center.
Hope this helps

I already have checked the email boxes under notification settings but it's not working
-
Try another private email address if possible to rule out network issues settings.
Did that work?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!

Hi,
@Shalini Ghosh, first try Andrées suggestion.
Then maybe check your SPAM folder or any SPAM filter your mail provider may use. For me the notifications work both ways with no problem.
Hope this helps

But when I am sending the update request from the row option , it is going to the inbox

Hi,
@Shalini Ghosh did you see the post about new email domains to be used by Smartsheet?
At my location (Germany) the notifications are now being sent with "app.smartsheet.com" with no problem, but I have checked my email setup already a few weeks ago.
Hope this helps

I think this is the main reason. My previous notifications were coming from automation@smartsheet.com .
Today it is coming from user@app.smartsheet.com ( when I am sending update requests via row option ).
Can you please suggest how to do this email setup ?
-
Hi @Shalini Ghosh ,
I did add e.g. "user@app.smartsheet.com" as address to the Smartsheet entry in my address book. The email app uses this address book and the SPAM filter in the email app passes contacts in the address book.
Depending on your setup (corporate, mail provider...) you may need to contact your IT admin, or add the domains to the whitelist of your email providers SPAM filter. Depends upon where the SPAM filter lives.
Hope this helps
