Cyrillic /slavic characters appear as code

Dear Colleagues,

In some of our Smartsheets, gathering input from third-party collaborators, they write their input into Cyrillic. While some text appear fine, a number of entries include the text as well as set of html-like characters.

We did not manage to figure out why and when it happens, and how to prevent that.

I'd appreciate your advice, suggestions.

HERE is another thread having the same issue. There was a suggestion to reach out to Support but no feedback from that, and another user came up with a workaround of cut/paste.

Thanks, Paul. I tried with that copy-paste approach. It id not work.

I wrote to Support and will wait for their answer.
