Refer to next row in Automated Alert email?

Can I refer to the next (or any specific) row in an automated email. I have a column for Task Owner (a Contact List) and I'd like the Automated Alert to be sent to the person who is the Task Owner for the NEXT task (next row).

It seems I can only refer to Contact Lists in the Automated Alerts and I am currently calculating the next Task owner.

I would add a column for "Next Task Owner" and just create a link to the Task owner in the following line:

Then you can set your automation to send the notification to the person in the "Next Task Owner" column.

Would that work for you?

I got it to work by setting up the formula and then changing the properties of the column to a Contact List.
