Would Report have the ability to filter columns as per new features announced in ENGAGE 2020?

Hi All,

I created a report using report builder that consolidates data from different project plans at the lower level with a set criteria. I am trying to see if there is a way to filter KPI within the report. As I am aware that Smartsheet will be rolling new features in the report announced in ENGAGE 2020, I wanted to check if anyone is aware of this. It would be helpful if someone can help me with the feasibility or any alternative solution.

Are you having any issues using existing report filters?

What was announced at ENGAGE involved new features like grouping, etc.

So what I am trying to do is this - "I want to use the columns for instance, "Company" column and filter it by Company A or Company B in a report. I know that this can be done in a sheet but I want to do this in a report. Can you please elaborate on new feature "Grouping"? Will this solve my purpose?
