Excel Compatible Symbols

Hi there,

 

I am creating a sheet for a project that I will need to export to Excel for poeple outside of my company to use and I was wondering if there are any symbols that are compatible with an export to Excel ie. would look the same.

    Hi Graham,

     

    Symbol usage in Excel differs quite a bit, as Excel typically allows for standard uni-6, uni-8, and I believe even uni-12 symbols. I think that Excel doesn't associate text values with symbols as Smartsheet does—but I could be wrong on this.

     

    Smartsheet uses specific symbols that were designed internally, and associates them with a text value. When you export them, I believe you just get the text value.
