Data Uploader Not Displaying Time from Import

Hello,
I am using Data uploader to import data from an excel sheet. It is critical that we pull in the date and time from the sheet. However, the time is not being pulled in - only the date. So i went to the source excel sheet and extracted the into a separate column. I used the =TIME(HOUR(G2),MINUTE(G2),SECOND(G2)) and changed the format of the cell to display as a time.
When
the data is imported it messes up the time, see screen shot attached. Any advice on how to resolve or at least a workaround to pull in the timestamp.

Hi @Katye Reed ,
I think you have to bring it over as text and then manipulate it into time. Smartsheet doesn't do time very easily.
Below is @Paul Newcome 's all things time page. You'll find it helpful.

Hi @Katye Reed,
Mark is correct in that Smartsheet doesn't currently have built-in time tracking functionality, other than leveraging the "Created Date" or "Modified Date" System Columns. I highly recommend Submitting a Product Enhancement Request for what you're looking to accomplish but I agree that Paul's information will likely be helpful too.
Thanks,
Ben

It looks like your times are being pulled into a date type column.

Thanks, Paul. It is a text number column not a date column type.

Hmm... Are you able to convert it to text instead of time in the source data? Text may pull through better.
