Feature Request: Foreign Servers

Not a server guy, so if I use the wrong words please try and understand what I mean above what I say.

Why not have some “mirror servers” in Europe and in Asia so that users in these countries can more rapidly access their workspaces.

So, we use SS worldwide.  In Russia, China, Japan, Netherlands, England, France, Belgium, and the good ol’ USA.  Here in the states, no problems.  However, I have just paid a visit to  my Chinese site and tried using SS at their location.  Even with what is a good connection here in China, it is still a very very slow experience.  I can just imagine how it is in Russia.  So far in Europe, it’s not as peppy but still ‘ok’.

For my department, we are really trying to push the convenience of using Smartsheet, but it is a hard sell when loading a sheet for your workspace can take 20-30 seconds, and every time you move from sheet from sheet using the  tabs it takes the same amount of time.

Asia is an especially booming market, and could become a big user of SS if it was fast enough to use easily.

Also not my area of expertise, but i believe we have lost proposals to alternate platforms because the data could not be hosted in country (overseas).

And my experience is usually not as pleasant (I get antsy waiting for the computer to respond) when I'm in Europe.
