Why is Document Builder not available through WorkApps report?

Any tips on the ability to use document builder from work apps? Right now, our main hold up (besides the convenience of an auto-launching Document builder) is that we set up permissions through workapps reports but the document builder button is not featured there. So we’re at a dead end…

As you've found, WorkApps doesn't currently have the functionality to generate documents. Your users would need to do that from the source sheet in Smartsheet. Please submit your request to our Product team so that they can hear from you, through this form here.

@Genevieve P. is it possible to generate a document from the smartsheets ipad app? It appears this functionality isn't available on tablets at all. I can not even access it from a tablet browser. I'd like for my field technicians to be able to generate a form that the customer could then docusign on site.

No, there currently isn't a way to generate Documents from the Mobile App version of Smartsheet, it needs to be done on the Web via a computer. I've answered your other post here!
