Will Blank Values Map Over in Datamesh?
I have data in a source sheet that changes occasionally. If a field gets mapped over, and then is later deleted in the source sheet, will a blank value also transfer and override that cell in the target sheet? In ex. below, Field 3 gets mapped over and then is later deleted. Will the target sheet look like option 1 or option 2?
We need it to look like option 1. We have the settings chosen to "Overwrite existing data in target sheet" but I noticed a place where this didn't happen.
If it stays as option 2, I know there are workarounds like putting dashes in the source sheet instead of blanks, but we have too many formulas on the target sheet that rely on those cells being blank.
Thanks for any and all help.

Hi @SYSPK
You are correct, if you have the settings as "Overwrite existing data in target sheet", then the workflow should update your Target sheet to look like Option 1. It will find the Lookup Value specified then update the columns that you have mapped with what the Source sheet has, including blank values.
You said you noticed a place where this didn't happen. Is it possible that the value in the in the Lookup Value field doesn't exactly match what's in the Source sheet for that row?
Cheers,
Genevieve
