What is the alphabetical order of non alphabet characters in Smartsheet

I am wondering what characters (symbols etc.) come after 'Z' when sorting alphabetically in Smartsheet in the same way that an underscore '_' is ahead of 'A'.

I am trying to change the order that my grouped items appear in a report and I have a grouping that starts with 'A' and I want it to go to the end.

When you are setting up the grouping you should have the option to group in ascending or descending order.

I believe that letters are basically the end of the line for sorting.

You may need to sort in the opposite order.

That's unfortunate. I don't think it's possible to make a grouping in a report appear in reverse alphabetical order, is it?

Hey @Eric Strashin,

I've been wondering about symbol sorting too! 🤔 So in column I typed out all special characters along with representative normal characters, and I then sorted the rows. (Note: you cannot use = nor ' as they have special functions in a cell. Space disappears if you try to put it at the start).
